Review: TonyMoly Make HD Hair Color Cream: Red Brown / 7R

TonyMoly has recently opened in Aberdeen Center in Richhmond and you don't know how happy that makes me! I've been purchasing the brand's makeup and skincare products online, and to now know I can buy them locally... I'm excited :) I've never tried any of their hair products before, but.. back in early January, the store was having a 30% off sale, so I picked up this hair dye for just under $8! Standard drugstore hairdye price, I'd say :)

Thoughts on Content
I must say, I LOVE every single thing that comes with this hair dye.

I have three things to say about how thoughtful I feel this product came to be. Firstly, this is the 2nd Korean brand of hairdye I've used (the first one being from Innisfree), and I appreciate the fact that it comes with a "plastic blanket" for you to put over yourself to prevent messiness. As well, the fact that the dye brush/comb is rat-tail ended is really, really... a bonus ^.^ Finally.... this is something minor, but, for the Developer Cream bottle, I like that you can untwist the cap to dispense the product out instead of having to cut it out like some brands I have used in the past.

Process

BEFORE DYEING--DYEING

I forgot to take pictures of the actual consistency of the product, but I will try my best to describe it.
The dye itself is quite liquidy, but concentrated. Initially, I was afraid my hair wouldn't fully saturated because of its watery consistency, but application was very easy. The dye came out to being reddish purple, which I was happy about because I knew for a fact that I would have red undertones!

Side Note: The conditioning cream is VERY rich, and you don't need to apply a lot! I wish it was sold separately.

Do I look like her? LOL

Natural Lighting

I left the dye on for about an hour, and the conditioning cream for 5 minutes. I must say, I am extremely satisfied with the end result :) I didn't expect the red to be this vibrant. This is quite a lovely auburn colour. For my hair length, I only used one box dye, but it wasn't enough. I do have some uneveness, but I'm okay with that. I would definitely repurchase this product!
